PHYSICAL SCIENCE

 In this week, two days went for mid term exams that is, Monday and Tuesday. I got answer sheets of physics and chemistry of respective class (8th C) for corrections. I corrected the paper entered the marks in the diary given by mentor teacher. On 26th july I conducted awareness test on green culture among boys and girls of class 9th. Mid-term exam questions were discussed. Innovative model lesson plan was taken on 7th period. On 27th I conducted achievement test. 31st of July was the last day of our phase II teaching practice. The day was a bit sorrowful. We gave gift to headmaster as gratitude. Also distributed sweets to teachers. We took pictures with our mentor teacher, headmaster, teacher trainees from other college and with our beloved students. The last weekend reflection for the second phase of school internship was conducted on the general hall around 10 am in the morning.  On 27th of July I conducted achievement test in class 8th C in 3rd and 4th period. 31 students gave the test. I gave one copy of question paper to my mentor teacher before the test. General instructions were given on the test. The test was conducted for 1 hour. I distributed the answer sheets of chemistry and physics. The very same day a farewell party was given to us by the teachers. Teachers shared their experience with us. They thanked us for our service. We also shared our experience of the training phase. With the refreshment program the day ended.

  DATE : 26/07/23 Today I took my innovative model lesson plan in class 8th C on 7th period. The model was based on the topic "Different types friction" of chapter "Force". The whole model was divided into four based on the types of friction and also included various situations where friction is beneficial and non-beneficial. The class was very interesting as the students showed their maximum attention into it. They were very much excited to do the activities specially the one with lights. Both me and my students were satisfied by the class.                                           

 Mid term Exams were started from 20th of July. This week I was busy with completing my chemistry and physics syllabus for class 9th and 10th. We had examination duty.  Date : 23rd of July (Option wise weekend reflection) Today was Sunday, even today we had no rest. After a long tiring day of SET exam, weekend reflection was conducted at 8.00pm , this, time ,the reflection was optional where 24 students reflected on their week under the supervision of our teacher in charge Kripa. one student from each school reflected on their experiences on the behalf of others .The students shared about the programs conducted on the occasion launching of Chandrayan . Also discussed about the lesson plans completed . Their planning on achievement test as it should be conducted on the coming week . Talked about the exams, duty to correct answer sheets as well as about the awareness tool. At 8.30 pm the reflection session ended.

In this week I had optional observation by our teacher Kripa in first period on 14th of July. I arranged class in multimedia lab. The class went as per my planning and I was satisfied with my class. During the second period, Susan had observation by the teacher.   Date : 16 July 2023 Option wise weekend reflection  was conducted on 16th of July at 7.00 pm online .All the students participated in the reflection session .The session was headed by our option teacher Kripa .Each student representative from each school reflected on their experiences from past week. Ten schools participated from the session I found that this time everyone 's concern is about the optional observation as next week all schools have mid term exams. So teacher discussed about it and asked about the periods and exam time table. Further, all 24students conducted DT and all of them are working on AT which they are planning to conduct after the mid-term exams .Everyone discussed about their lesson plans...

O n 14th of july, the school  conducted an awareness class for UP students of VI,VII and VIII. The theme of the awareness class was the menstruation and personal hygiene. Kumbalam govt hospital sister cum educator Revathy S. R. took the awareness class. Students were ask their doubts in the menstruation After the session the sister gave some free napkins to the students.  

  An award ceremony was conducted in M. G. D. Girls Kundara on July 10th from 3pm to 5pm. The students who completed their 10th with full A+ were awarded with a Trophy 🏆. The principal Roy Sir inaugurated the ceremony. And at last photos were taken with the students. We the trainees were also invited for the program but also were given with the discipline duty were we have to look after rest of the classes.
