PHYSICAL SCIENCE

 This week was little bit relaxing compared to the last week. In this week mostly I have done revisions and discussed previous year questions in both the class. On wednesday something blissful happened in my life as students came for seminar with lots of preparation. I was very much happy to see them taking seminar. It made me even more happier when my students came up with models, ppt, activity cards and all by taking inspiration from my class. It was surprising to see their seminar reports as well with lots of creativity. On the following days I prepared for achievement test. An option wise weekend reflection was conducted on 25th of Feb from 11:45 to 01:15 in physical science optional class. It was led by our teacher in charge Vineeth M. Students discussed on how far they reached on lesson plan and also about the diagnostic test and the remedial class they have given. some still did not give remedial teaching and are on their way to go.  This week was little hectic with some of the major works to be done as part of our BEd curriculum. On the first two days of this week I was busy with the planning for the school based activity on awareness program as part of the psychology work. On 14th of Feb I had conducted the remedial class on the topic image formation of concave mirror when object placed between F and P in class 8th C based on the analysis of the diagnostic chart prepared. Then on 15th our group conducted the above mentioned awareness program on Elimination of violence against women in the form of a documentary along with the play we enacted. In the following days I had peer observation and also I decided to conduct seminar on the topic ' Thunder and Lightning' in class 8th C. so i divided the class into 6 groups. With this my week ended. There was no weekend reflection this week as we had holiday.    

 This week has given me lot of memorable days and new works. On 6th of Feb I had my second observation for which my teacher Vineeth M came and observed me taking class on the topic 'Electroscope and Earthing'. He game me valuable suggestions and also motivated me by saying I had improved a lot. Then onwards, on the following days I was assigned with a new work of taking extra classes for class 10th students as part of preparations for pre models. Further I helped students in their dance practice. I also conducted diagnostic test on Feb 8 in class 8th C. On 10th of Feb we had annual day celebrations. It was a hectic day. We helped teachers in preparation.               On Feb 11 we had optional reflection, which was conduction on the behalf of our optional teacher Vineeth M. All the students shared their experiences both bitter and sweet ones. They discussed the working of different activities. It was good to hear them. The session lasted for one and half hours and ended at 3:30

 The whole week from Jan 30 to Feb 3 went very well in the school. It was a usual week with lots of work as we have to take regular periods along with substitution periods. I helped students in their dance practice also. The special thing that happened this week was when we, the BEd trainees from different institutions conducted a morning assembly. We incorporated prayer song, thought of the day, pledge, news reading, GK session and ended with assembly. The HM was very happy with our conduct. students also appreciated us.           On Feb 4 general reflection was conducted on the behalf of Riju sir and all other general teachers. The reflection was given by the students representing each school. At the end Riju sir gave a reflection and suggestions on conducting diagnostic test. The reflection ended at 4:00 pm.
